iReasoning's mib browser actually crashed my router!! If you want an SNMP stack, they've got a good JAVA solution - but forget their MIB browser. Anyone that is really serious about using a SNMP MIB browser should definitely check out ByteSphere's OidView SNMP Toolset and MIB Browser: http://www.oidview.com/mibbrowser.html

It beats the others hands down.

I tried both products on my xpsp2 laptop. On the contrary, ireasoning mib tool works perfectly, but oidview mib tool failed to load some mibs.

This is Jeremy Eliot of ByteSphere Support. Could you please tell me which MIBs OidView did not load, I would like to try to reproduce the problem and then, if there are indeed problems, implement a fix. I would just like to add that when put into automated batch compile mode and pointed at our internal MIB library, OidView has compiled over 5000 unique vendor MIBs and over a half million MIB objects without a problem.
