In the main my frustration stems from my deep respect for the HCIL work and my bewilderment at the need to replace rather than build on these libraries. To my mind that seems a lot of work for not enough benefit. In addition, the existing users of the libraries miss out on the new work.
I understand that your, and other people's excitement stems from what has been promised, I just don't want to see the good foundations lost.
