- XML Core - Basic (With Conrad Roche)
- XML DTD (colead wanted)
- XML Schema (colead wanted)
- PMD - Basic (colead wanted)
- XSLT - Basic (to be authored)
I would like to at least stay lead of XML Core, which is very stable.
If you can find people to colead with me on the other exams, that would be great.
If you can find more than one person to take over the "XML DTD", "XML Schema" and "PMD" exams, that would be fine with me, I don't currently have time to follow all of them. However, I would rather keep them than see them orphaned.
I am currently in the process of drafting a new "XSLT Basic" exam, I would like to keep this one.
Thinking twice, a Wicket exam is probably much more than i can handle. The topic is really broad, so more that one exam would be appropriate here, i think. Even though I have some degree experience with Wicket, i donīt feel confident enough to moderate on every aspect.
What about a Google-Guice exam? Iīd love to do this one. Any interest in that?
Uwe,
Let's keep this thread to
existing
exams. You can start a new thread to discuss new/future exams. And if you suggest a new exam, you get first dibs on moderating it.
Re: Exam Leader Rotation
If I may, I'd really like to relinquish all my exam leads. Things are a bit busy for me to continue at the moment; I just don't have the time.The exams I (co-)lead are:
* JDBC Basic
* JMS
* Java RegEx
* SQL & RDB - Basic
* XML Programming - Basic
The "XML Programming - Basic" might be a candidate for retirement? Not sure but I think some of the technologies in that exam are a bit out-of-date.

PS -- I don't expect this to happen immediately but the sooner the better, I guess.
Oh, and I'm still happy to be a moderator (you know, a termite in the woodwork
