Easy to install software stacks for Roller and Liferay

URL: BitNami

At 7:03 AM on Oct 17, 2007, bitnami.org wrote:

We just released several easy to install open source application stacks on our new site, BitNami.org. A stack combines an application with all its dependencies in a cross-platform installation package for ease of distribution and deployment. With just a few clicks, users can have Roller and Liferay, and all of the other software required (Apache, MySQL and JRE.) ready to run across multiple platforms. Currently available stacks include: Roller and Liferay, but we?re working on several others. Each application stack is released as open source under the terms of the Apache 2.0 license.

To download the stacks, visit http://www.bitnami.org/stacks

The goal of BitNami is to help encourage the adoption of open source software by making it easier to install and configure. If you have suggestions for improving our installers or for new applications that we should be packaging, please post to our forums at http://www.bitnami.org/forums
