Code formatting for JS exam

At 11:54 AM on Feb 15, 2008, Abhijit Akhawe wrote:

Checkout Q 29448 (http://www.javablackbelt.com/QuestionDetail.wwa?qidk=29448) as an example.

The code is written with

but for some reason it is appearing as center aligned. I have tried removing the tabs but it still fails to format correctly. Check the rejected version 3.

Trying to add numbers and hoping that [CODE:JAVA NUM] works also failed to yield results in the preview window.

Is it possible to have a [CODE:JS] tag for this? This will not only hopefully adress this issue but also help in highlighting keywords in JavaScript.

Re: Code formatting for JS exam

Hi Abhijit,

To me, the code looks left aligned. Which browser are you using?
Could you add a Jira issue for the JS code highlighting (http://jira.javablackbelt.com).

Thank you,

Aymeric

Re: Code formatting for JS exam

Hi Aymeric,

The code snippets of all the exam are center aligned while using the IE 6 or IE 7 browser.

The same is perfect in Mozilla.

Please look into this browser compatibility issue.

thanks,
Amzad Basha.

Re: Code formatting for JS exam

This issue has already been reported: http://jira.javablackbelt.com/browse/JBB-202

It also happens in KDE's Konqueror.
